📏 Measurement Methodology: The Real Real

We measure every garment by hand—no shortcuts, no guesswork, no robots. It’s Industry Standard, locked and legit. That said, we’re human (and proud of it). Minor variations can happen, but every number is given with care, precision, and a whole lotta love. Use our measurements as your guide, not gospel. This is how we get them.

Tops | Blazers | Jackets | Vests

  1. Shoulder: Measure straight across from one shoulder seam to the other—no slouching.
  2. Bust: Go armpit to armpit, then double it. (Yep, literally pit-to-pit.)
  3. Length: Start at the very top of the shoulder and measure straight down to the hem. This gives you the total vibe.
  4. Sleeve Length: From the shoulder seam to the cuff. Pro tip: dropped shoulders can make this number look shorter than it wears.

Jeans | Pants

  1. Waist: Measure flat across the waistband, then double. For elastic styles, we show both: the relaxed waist (chill and stretchy-free) and the max stretch waist (pulled until it won’t go further).
  2. Hip: At the widest point between waistband and crotch, measure straight across and double. Simple math for max curve confidence.
  3. Rise: From the top of the waistband straight down to the crotch seam. This tells you if it’s high-rise drama, a laid-back mid, or a low-slung throwback.
  4. Inseam: Start at the crotch seam and measure down the inside leg to the hem. It’s the “do these puddle at the ankle or flash your shoes?” measurement.
  5. Length: From the center of the waistband to the bottom hem — the total vibe, whether cropped, ankle, or floor-sweeping.

Skirts

  1. Waist: Lay it flat, measure straight across the top of the waistband, then double it up. If it’s elastic, we give you the full story: the relaxed waist (chill and unstretched) and the max stretch waist (pulled until it can’t go any further).
  2. Hip (If Needed): Find the widest point — about 8" down from the waist — measure across, then double.
  3. Length: Start at the center of the waistband and measure straight down to the hemline. Mini, midi, or floor-sweeping drama.

Dresses

  1. Bust: Measure flat from armpit to armpit, then double.
  2. Waist: Find the narrowest point, measure straight across, then double.
  3. Hips: Measure across the widest part, then double.
  4. Length: From the top of the shoulder straight down to the hemline.
  5. Sleeve Length: Shoulder seam to sleeve opening. Dropped shoulders will read shorter than they wear.

Measurement Notes

• “Free” or “Open” means it’s intentionally roomy to flex across multiple sizes.
• Because we work with different makers and silhouettes, sizing can vary from piece to piece. Your usual size may not be an exact fit every time — so lean on these numbers as your true guide.

Necklines Meet Necklaces

Neckline drama, solved. Whether you’re stacking chokers or rocking a long layer over your favorite sweater, this cheat sheet shows where every necklace length hangs—so you nail the vibe every time.

Length Where It Rests
14” | 35 cm Choker Style
16” | 40 cm Collar Style
18” | 45 cm Below Collarbone
20” | 50 cm Upper Chest
22” | 55 cm Near Bust
24” | 60 cm Center of Bust
26” | 65 cm Bottom of Bust
30” | 76 cm Mid Torso
33” | 84 cm Lower Torso
36” | 91 cm Just Above or at Waist
Styling Note: Shorter chains (14–18”) hug closer and highlight the neckline — perfect for layering or open collars. Mid-lengths (20–24”) sit at the bust line and pair beautifully with dresses, v-necks, or everyday basics. Longer chains (30–33”) bring that laid-back drama — they look especially chic draped over sweaters, blouses, or layered with shorter pieces for that effortless stacked vibe.
